Designers and customer experience experts from the aviation, hospitality and cruise industries are invited to attend the event, where they can discuss and learn about cross-industry interior design solutions to raise the world’s most pressing challenge: sustainability. Visitors can attend conference sessions and participate in collaborative learning through panel discussions to refine their personal knowledge and return to their business with actionable insights.
Register now for an Early Bird pass, which grants access to the full SDS conference program, including breakout sessions, panel discussions, networking breaks and a free lunch. The Early Bird Pass also includes an invitation to the opening night of Cruise Ship Interiors Expo Europe, which will take place at the ExCel center in London the following day (November 30).
The SDS conference agenda begins with the keynote, titled “One Planet, One Mission: Addressing Common Challenges,” which will outline the sustainability challenges that unite the aviation, hospitality, and cruises. Breakout sessions will offer expert knowledge including Circular Design 101, Color, Material & Finish, and Sustainability Infrastructure: Assessments, Tools & Technology. Delegates can also dig deeper into industry-specific challenges through sector breakdowns. Learnings will be shared in a “Setting Our Intent” session, where delegates can explore the drivers of change, what is needed to create change and the next step for sustainability.
SDS provides further practical learning with the plenary session ‘Pitching to Stakeholders: How to Hold a Conversation About Sustainability’. Speakers will include Luke Pearson, co-founder and director of design agency PearsonLloyd, Thomas Westergaard, vice president of Hurtigruten Expeditions, and Bryan Liska, director of design at Hilton Latin America & the Caribbean. The panel will consider how best to showcase sustainability initiatives, from stakeholders to the public.
