Hawaiian Airlines Adds Larger Business Class Cabin To 787 Aircraft

Today, Hawaiian Airlines is improving its premium product by adding reclining seats to its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft. Historically, the airline has skimped on its premium cabins by installing outdated seats and offering fewer rows compared to its competitors.

Hawaiian has ordered 10 Boeing 787-9s, with the first scheduled for delivery next year. The plane will be equipped with 34 business class suites, twice as many business seats as the company’s only other widebody, the Airbus A330, which has just 18.
